Instructions for Final Project
Your project must fit on a sheet of regular Letter paper size (8.5 x 11 in)
1) Your infographic must talk about the different boosters available and provide all information that people would need to make an informed choice.
2) Give a very short summary (less than 150 words) on the reverse side of the infographic about your risk analysis and some recommedations on the booster shots. You may want to use bullets, headings and sub-headings to make your points concisely.
You must have both “in-text citations” using APA format as well a list of citations (references) at end of the essay with full details of all the references (sources) you used in researching the content for your essay. For more details with examples please see
If you are using Microsoft Word please turn in two different pages (infographic+reference sheet)
If you are using Microsoft Powerpoints please turn in two different slides ((infographic+reference sheet)
Use all your knowledge during the course to showcase the different boosters available and provide all information that people would need to make an informed choice.
Convert your infographic to pdf format to decrease the size of the file before uploading it. If it is too large, Canvas may refuse to accept the file. We will not grade any assignment that is not uploaded as file to Canvas.
We will not accept the assignment on a google drive with the link shared on any other website with the link shared.
The assignment must be uploaded to the link within Canvas for us to grade it.
Requirements:
- Created to fit on a 8.5 x 11 in sheet of paper
- All content must be within printable margins
- Eye-catching and colorful (stick to 2-4 colors please do not go overboard)
- Neatly organized to communicate information into a title and distinct section headings (sub headings)
- The main title jumps out at you and clearly communicates what the infographic is about
- Use only 2-3 fonts but ensure that you are consistent across all titles, section headings, figures, text etc.
- Choose a font that is easy to read (Sans serif fonts are easy on the eyes)
- minimum of 1 graph
- minimum of 4 graphics
- minimum of 6 facts (3 for vaccination and 3 for transmission of coronavirus) on the infographic
- Facts are supported by graphics and graphs.
- Reference sheet analyzes and summarizes the information in the infographic
- Size of project must be amenable to upload to Canvas (do not upload file to another location and share the link. This will not be accepted)
- Run your infographic through this website to ensure that your material is accessible to folks who might be color blind . Please take a screenshot of the output and paste it into a word document. You must explore all the conditions. Then turn that word document into the link provided on Canvas.
