Students engaged in instruction are less likely to demonstrate off task or unwanted behaviors. I have
given you two sources about instructional engagement. Research at least one more source on the
importance of student engagement on classroom management or behavior.
Write a paper on your findings explaining how to increase student engagement in the classroom and
decrease behavioral or management issues in the class. The paper should be no more than three
pages in length. It should not just list instructional strategies to increase engagement but also explain
the how and why the strategy positively impacts behavior and management.
