CASE STUDY INTERVIEW ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
Case studies have a practical application in business, as many operational leaders need to prac-tice situations that they may face. We can review the current selection plan and adjust based on the needs of the organization. The key factors for impact for interviews are what KSAO’s are needed, how does the company screen for them and how much weight should each carry.
INSTRUCTIONS
You will complete the “Interview” case in the Tanglewood Casebook (#6 on pp. 42-46, 2018). You will write a 3–5-page essay (total does not include title page or reference page) that an-swers the first 4 questions (1–4) on p. 46. Do not simply answer the questions. This is an essay and must be written to include an introduction, body, and conclusion. It may prove helpful to use the topic of the questions (detailed selection plan, KSAOs, interview questions, and scoring key) as section headers in your essay. Your response must be supported by at least 2 peer-reviewed resources. These resources must have been published within the last 5 years. Do not use other textbooks. The essay must be written in current APA format and include a title page, reference page, and in-text citations.
