In this assignment, you must analyze Maria from the scenario,
Write a paper that primarily focuses on Maria, as well as compares her development with that of her family members.
Physical Development:
Cite scholarly/authoritative sources to analyze Maria’s physical development.
Address any aspects of Maria’s appearance, motor skills/movement, stamina, and biological (hormones) that may be affecting her physical development.
Social/Emotional Development:
Cite scholarly/authoritative sources to identify 2 theories that are related to social/emotional development for Maria’s age group.
Give examples of how you may see these theories in Maria’s life.
Cognitive Development:
Cite scholarly/authoritative sources to identify 2 theories that are related to cognitive development for Maria’s age group.
Give examples of how we might see these theories in play within Maria’s life.
Explain the language development for Maria’s age group.
Spiritual/Moral Development:
Cite scholarly/authoritative sources to identify 2 theories that are related to the spiritual and moral development for her age group.
Give examples of how you may see these theories in Maria’s life.
Compare and Contrast Maria’s stages of development in the four categories with the other two family members’ (Isabel and Carlos) developmental stages in those four categories. You may use the same theories as cited in #2 or use other theories.
