In Chapter 2 of the primary text, Siegel discusses the nature and extent of crime (2015). After reading this chapter, discuss in detail the three different ways crime is recorded in our country. Elaborate on each of the strengths and weaknesses of each recording method. Discuss how the different ways of recording crime can assist in addressing results found in the theoretical study of crime and crime causation.
