Instructions

God commands us to take time each week to rest from our labors but many believers find it difficult to keep this commandment. The Sabbath is a gift to humankind to slow down, stop, and take time to relax and rest.

Write a 1-2 page final journal to answer the following questions:

How will you take time to rest without feeling guilty?

What is the difference between self-care and self-indulgence?

How is self-care related to self-preservation?

How is Sabbath an act of resistance by saying “no” to the culture of now?

How will you slow down and rest by creating Sabbath spaces in your week as a form of self-care?
