1. Conduct research to locate and study a number of major cases where international negotiations (business or politics) failed for various reasons.
Connect the dots to extract at least three (3) patterns that could explain the reason behind these failures. Keep in mind that patterns are formed from “a combination of factors.” Accordingly, please be sure to shed light upon some of the critical factors.
2. Select two countries for a potential scenario of negotiation within a specific context. Name the two countries as well as the context (i.e., buyer-supplier, outsourcing services, etc.) and after conducting research about various factors, such as culture, norms, social values, communication styles, and best practices, compile and propose a set of tips to both parties to facilitate their negotiations.
