1. There are a number of research methods that are used in child development research. As discussed in your textbook,Infants, Children, and Adolescents , systematic observations, self-reports, the clinical, or case study, method, and ethnography are often used when studying children and adolescents.
   1. What might lead a researcher to opt for clinical interviewing (a type of self-report) over systematic observation?
   2. What strengths and limitations do the clinical, or case study, method and ethnography have in common? What is the major difference between these two methods?
