How are those strengths and goals different from past internships or employment? Is any of this reflected in your Learning Contract?
• Review the section on encountering value differences. How have you handled such differences in the past, and how would you like to handle them should they arise during your internship?
• Make note of the professional issues discussed on pages 104-115. Have you already encountered any of them? Which ones seem most likely to arise and how would you deal with them? Who at your site or in your program can help you decide what to do should these issues surface?
