After you have introduced yourself, consider what kinds of technical writing you engage with on a day-to-day basis, and:
Provide two to three examples of technical writing that you regularly produce or read, and explain how this communication differs from the type of writing you encounter in school.
Then, think about the profession you hope to enter after you graduate, and discuss why it could be problematic for a writer within your field to compose text for a professional purpose in the same manner as he or she would compose a text for an academic purpose.
