- What major chains are present in your country of choice and how many properties does each have?
- Choose one chain and discuss its expansion plans within the country. Be sure to include how this is being accomplished (new builds, mergers, acquisitions).
- Discuss how classifications and standards are determined in the country for independent hotels. Are they determined by the government? A private agency? By the hoteliers themselves?
