Pick a psychological disorder and find a peer-reviewed article on treating that disorder with medication versus psychotherapy (excluding the research/disorder discussed in the lecture – borderline personality disorder, Cognitive behavior therapy, Acceptance and commitment therapy, Dialectical behavior therapy). What does the research say? Is there a benefit of psychotherapy over medication, vice versa, or are there interactive effects of medication and psychotherapy? Describe whether or not you agree with the findings, and support your opinion with evidence.
