Student will create a 3D model or diagram to represent the relationship between photosynthesis and cellular respiration and provide a brief written explanation.
SPECIFIC GUIDELINES AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Must create a diagram or 3D model that shows the process of photosynthesis, the process of cellular respiration, and how they are connected
• Your diagram or model can show the cycle only OR
• You can do a diagram that shows the photosynthesis/cellular respiration cycle on a larger scale, as included in a landscape (more details at the bottom of this resource)
• Your diagram or model should include all the vocabulary words given above for full completion
• Your diagram or model must include labels of reactants, products, and associated plant structures
• Your diagram or model must include arrows to indicate the when/where reactants are being taken in and when/where products are being released
• You must also submit a brief written explanation of 5-8 sentences explaining how the process of photosynthesis and cellular respiration are related
EVIDENCE OF COMPLETION:
• Please make sure everything in your diagram or model can be read clearly
• For convenience, it is a good idea to combine your picture and written explanation into one file (although it is not necessary)
• The combined file can be a Google Doc, Microsoft Word document, Google Slide, or PowerPoint presentation
• If you receive an error stating that your file is too big, you will need to save it as a PDF and then upload the PDF to the drop box (ask your teacher if you need help with this)
DOs DON’Ts
Create your own ORIGINAL diagram or model using craft supplies or a drawing program on the computer Do NOT copy/paste a diagram you found from the internet
Write an original explanation using the notes you took while reading the Connexus lessons Do NOT copy/paste a written explanation you found on the internet
