Research has proven that deployment takes an emotional toll on relationships with spouses or significant others. There are numerous aspects that the individual remaining at home has to take on from dealing with the finances to temporarily becoming a single-parent. In a 7-page paper, describe the effects of deployment on spouses or significant others and describe the key areas of importance you would discuss with your spouse or significant other prior to deployment. Based upon the course materials reviewed, include each of the following areas.
Describe the general effects of deployment on spouses/significant others.
Describe the key areas they would need to take over in your absence.
Examine the changes or stressors he/she may experience during your deployment.
Describe your plan for keeping in contact during your deployment, whether you would want to discuss their stressors, etc.
