Watch this video above describing social identity theory. Choose an identity group that you believe you belong to and discuss any negative experiences you’ve encountered in group settings (e.g., workgroup, team project at school, etc.). Then, pick an identity group other than your own and describe the negative experiences and interactions you believe you might encounter in the workplace. What policies or strategies might an organization implement to prevent those negative experiences from occurring?
