Assignment 1- Military Acronyms
All branches of the military speak with a great deal of acronyms in their daily language and commands. Regardless of the branch in which you are involved, you must be very familiar with these acronyms and their meanings. In fact, you must be familiar enough with them to use them as a second language. Being around them long enough, they naturally become part of your language but initially they can be difficult to remember.
For this assignment you are to research a branch of the military you are interested in or will possibly be working with in the future—not one you are working with now. Compile a list of 15-20 acronyms for that branch of the military from an authoritative source. Be sure to give both the acronym as well as its meaning.
