We have grown up hearing the word emotion. Most would even consider emotions part of their daily lives. However, many find it difficult to provide a definition for emotions. Why? Based on research, how do you define the word emotions? Take into consideration all aspects of emotion.

History has concluded that primary motivation is derived from biological needs (hunger, thirst, sex, pain, and sleep). However, some now debate that emotion should be considered a primary motivation. Why is this? Justify your own opinion.
