In the very recent history,Google launched a very amb itious IT project. It’s called Project Loon, which is short for “balloon”. The idea is to launch balloons in the stratosphere, to provide free Wi-Fi signals to remote areas. It’s estimated that two thirds of the world’s population do not have Internet access, and so Project Loon is trying to mitigating this grave injustice. However, the project was terminated the project in early 2021.Please watch some of the short videos in the link below, and discuss from an IT management perspective if an Agile or Waterfall approach is better suited for such a project.
