I decided to go with what I am passionate at the moment. Most people will think I am crazy, but that is what will make this interesting. I am starting to become obsessed with taking cold showers and wanted to write about reasons why cold showers are beneficial. INTRODUCTORY STATEMENT

Everyone loves taking a nice warm shower, right? Wrong. Thanks to a dutch motivational speaker, Wim Hof, cold showers are becoming a common practice around the world. Many people are now incorporating cold showers into their daily routine.

THESIS STATEMENT 

Taking a freezing cold shower for just a few minutes per day has a tremendous amount of health benefits including reduced stress levels, weight loss, and increased willpower.

BODY PARAGRAPHS

SUPPORTING IDEA 1: Reduced Stress Levels

TOPIC SENTENCE 1 – When I take a cold shower, I feel relaxed afterwards each time.

SUPPORTING IDEA 2: Increases Metabolism 

TOPIC SENTENSE 2 -  Taking cold showers actually increases your metabolism. This is because your body has to fight to stay warm.

TOPIC SENTENSE 3 – Each time I am about to hop into the freezing cold shower, it feels like I am battling myself. One part of my mind screams “DON’T DO IT” and the other says “But Daisy, You will feel so good afterwards and the benefits will outweigh this temporary fear!”
