Explain why you believe this disease is a threat to human health and identify at least 3 determinants specific to the disease you have chosen to discuss.
Question 2: Environmental Changes and Zoonotic Diseases

Explain the impacts of environmental changes on zoonotic diseases. Choose one zoonotic disease you believe is a growing threat to the health and safety of human populations. Discuss why you believe this disease is a growing threat. Be sure to identify the populations most vulnerable to the disease. Specifically describe the ways in which environmental factors impact the distribution of your chosen zoonotic disease.
Question 3: Globalization.
Word Count: 360-400
Define the term globalization and its relationship to population health. Identify a minimum of three ways in which globalization has directly impacted human health over the 20th century. Each of the three direct impacts of globalization you identify should be accompanied by a specific disease or outcome as an example.
Question 4: One Health One Medicine, infectious disease, and public health.
Word Count: 500-600
Imagine you are a public health professional assigned to a crisis management team working to prevent/mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the United States, in January of 2020. Given your knowledge of One Health One Medicine, globalization, emerging and reemerging diseases, zoonoses, and the important roles of animals in human health, make 5 public health recommendations you believe could prevent the spread of disease. Remember that you are making the recommendations in January 2020, when knowledge about modes of transmission was limited. Be sure to describe each recommendation in adequate detail and provide sufficient rationale for why the recommendation is being made.
