There are several professional disciplines in health care that adhere to specific standards of practice. Choose three of these disciplines and write a 750-1,000-word paper addressing the following points:
Identify the three specific disciplines you chose and provide a rationale for your selection.
How are the standards of each discipline set and reviewed? Who is responsible for setting these standards and how often are they reviewed?
Identify a current issue in the health care industry and explain how each chosen discipline applies its specific standards to address the issue.
This assignment requires a minimum of three to five peer-reviewed references.
Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
