12 Apr Emerging Adulthood in the Media
Order Instructions
STEP 1: Give an example of a character from a movie or a television show that is likely in the stage of emerging adulthood. Find a short clip from YouTube with a scene that shows a character that is roughly between the ages of 18 to 25 that is going through at least one of the features of emerging adulthood outlined in the textbook. Note that while technically only chapters 17 and 18 (Emerging Adulthood Biosocial and Cognitive) are assigned for this week, you may cite chapter 19 (Emerging Adulthood Psychosocial) in your description as well if you like.
STEP 2: Post the URL to your chosen clip and your explanation as to why you believe this character is in the stage of emerging adulthood. Be sure to cite the text when discussing the features of emerging adulthood. Your explanation should be 300 to 500 words.
