In this assignment, you will describe situations in which the styles of policing (Watchman, Legalistic, and Service) would be used in the career field. You will also explain what you can infer about the organizational and political culture of the agency based on the various policing styles.

In this module, you learned about the three styles of policing: Watchman, Legalistic, and Service. You will now apply these styles to the career chosen in Module One in order to prepare for submitting Project One in Module Five. First, review the Styles of Policing resource section. Then, for each style, describe a scenario or hypothetical situation (in 1–2 paragraphs) in which the style is exemplified in the career field. Then, explain what you can infer about the organizational and political culture of the agency based on the various policing styles (in 1 paragraph).
