The paper will consist of a written report discussing an ethical issue in
accounting. It could also be about a corporate accounting scandal that occurred in
the past. The report should be three double spaced 8.5×11 typed pages plus 1
page for bibliography. Students should conduct research using the internet or
traditional library selecting current articles from accounting periodicals such as
The CPA Journal, Journal of Accountancy, The wall street Journal, The New
York Times etc. Textbooks should not be used. The paper should include a
summary of the article including the main points, by the author, the
student’s reaction to the article and bibliography.
