Though it may be difficult to gauge, you’ve been developing as a reader and writer your whole life. In this week’s discussion forum, you’ll take a few minutes to reflect upon your own literacy development by writing your literacy narrative.

Review the characteristics of a literacy narrative in your text, and in a post of no less than 250 words, write your own literacy narrative. As part of your narrative, consider what it means to read and write rhetorically, and where you have used those concepts as a reader or a writer. Make sure you include a main idea, at least one specific scene, and sensory detail. You may use first person.
