In this assignment, you will pick a side in the “console war” by creating a television commercial for either Sega or Super Nintendo. Select one of the consoles and use what you’ve learned about it to persuade your target audience of that time that it is the right system for them. You can use video or a presentation software (such as PowerPoint or Prezi) to create the commercial. Be sure to cite any resources for images and other content.

Your commercial should:

• be aimed at a specific target age group
• fit in a 30-60 second time slot
• describe the features of the product
• be creative, engaging, and appropriate for a TV audience
• use engaging visuals
• persuade the audience why it is a better choice than the competitor
