Deliverable 1: Strategic Planning

Internal Memorandum for The Healthcare Business Plan

Internal Memorandum

TO: All employees of Healthy Dynamics

FROM: Project Assessment Leader

RE: Development of Better Revenue from the Healthcare Industry

The above matter is referred to handle better healthcare delivery since Healthy Dynamics has substandard performance. Therefore, it is crucial to integrate strategic planning by connecting professionals who shall increase practical healthcare improvements. There can be internal improvements in the healthcare sector using business planning and strategic planning. Business planning is focused on the profitability concept of a healthcare environment by setting up payment options suitable to the patients and thus covering all expenses for managing the healthcare facility (Esfahani et al., 2018). Business plan describes the who and what of the business. It identifies who is running the business, what the business does, and the products and services. It addresses the question of aligning the business to achieve its goals (Parsons, 2020).

In contrast, strategic planning in healthcare is connected to finding the best method to ensure the treatment of patients' conditions. Strategic planning integrates advanced healthcare improvement techniques to offer access to suitable healthcare improvement scenarios (Esfahani et al., 2018). It looks beyond the business plan to explain the how. It projects future products and services to develop long-term goals (Parsons, 2020).

The proposal is to reduce drug and alcohol abuse in the population by using healthcare campaigns. Healthcare campaigns on social media are a suitable focus area to improve revenue by sharing information to a large audience using healthcare infographics and videos (Edney et al., 2018). It can be possible to validate different health improvement sessions once all involved persons understand the need to validate their health factors using interventions. Suggested interventions are physical exercise, integration of community groups, and launching social media campaigns to reduce alcohol and drug intake (Gordon & Pollack, 2018). There can be integrated wellness and health improvements once healthcare campaigns get launched in target populations. Wellness services are gaining better delivery in connection with the level of participation from people that realize the importance of their vital signs like high blood pressure, weight, and blood glucose levels (Gordon & Pollack, 2018).

According to Hossin (2022) by increasing the number of participants, the organization can increase revenue. Targeting the customers in need and developing a plan to manage their overall wellness, is the outreach needed to increase revenue. The organization should offer health clinics, mental health, and physical exercise events beyond the normal business days and hours. For my experience, text messages and social media are the best outreach platforms. Also, offering telehealth services to patients allows for the organization to reach more population in need.

Key questions to address for the new venture shall be:

1. How can the public gain better health improvement?

2. Are there any environmental areas where public members can engage with healthcare personnel?

3. How to effectively integrate healthy concepts into daily life?

4. What goals does the organization want to reach, and what is the timeline?

According to Hossin (2022) the company's view is that better health outcomes shall be possible with constant assessments.
