16 May Identify one action you can take as manager to increase employee motivation
Order Instructions
Department Managers,
I think it is important to acknowledge that part of our success relies on motivating our employees and creating a more engaged workforce. This is where your help is needed. As manager, you are the de facto leader of your department. Though upper management can implement some programs to help motivate employees, it will be your efforts that will make the difference.
Please think about this problem and provide me with one idea for motivating your employees within 10 days. I know you have the academic background for creating and implementing a unique plan. Because Bob is a huge skeptic of all of this talk of motivation, I will need you to let me know what motivational theory you based your plan upon and why you think this plan will be the best option. I want to have a ready response when Bob starts questioning these “new” ideas.
With gratitude,
Alma Opibus
