Order Instructions
In this assignment, your goal is to develop a behavioral skills training protocol to teach a behavior technician how to teach verbal operants. Therefore, in this assignment you are developing two protocols: one that includes behavior change systems for teaching a client four basic operants (mand, tact, echoic, and intraverbal) and a protocol using BST to teach a behavior technician how to carry out these verbal behavior acquisition protocols. This assignment will also be incorporated in your Week 9 assignment.
Instructions
Refer to the case study you used in your PSY7712/PSY7713 coursework for this assignment.
Develop a verbal behavior program to teach a mand, tact, echoic, and intraverbal to the client from that case study. You will use your knowledge on verbal behavior to determine the most appropriate targets and instructional methods based on that client’s skills and needs.
You will then complete one table for each verbal operant. Use the BST for Verbal Behavior Template [DOCX] to complete this assignment.
When writing your tables, be sure to include the following:
Describe the client’s needs and skills.
Define mand, tact, echoic, and intraverbal.
Explain the importance of teaching the verbal operant to the specific client.
Refer to the Week 2 Behavior Skills Training (BST) Instruction and the Week 5 Behavior Skills Training (BST) Model media pieces to help you complete the tables.
