Journal 3: The Cost of Higher Education
We know there is a monetary cost to education, but what are other costs–health, time, etc? We know there can be monetary gains from education (higher salaries, eventually), but what are other gains–knowledge, critical thinking, etc.? Try to utilize quoting, paraphrasing, and your own words in your answer.
When I grade journals, I am looking for approximately the following objectives:
Is the answer a fully developed paragraph that makes sense on its own, around 200 words?
Does the writer show understanding of the text and respond with their own opinion backed up with evidence?
Does the writer cite from the source correctly in APA format?
Is the post edited and mostly free of grammatical/mechanical mistakes?
