1. Go to Ch. 9, document 4 beginning on p. 199 "Proposition 187 of 1994 – Arguments in Favor and Against
2. Read the document
3. Answer the following questions:
   • Which side has the strongest argument – the For Proposition 187 side or the Against Proposition 187 side? Explain why you made this choice.
   • What aspect of the immigration debate is dominating the news this week? What are the arguments put forth by each side of this current issue?
