In this assignment, you will create an annotated bibliography in preparation for your next paper over Fences by August Wilson. Follow the prompt below.

Instructions:
1. In preparation for your next paper, read Fences by August Wilson 1230-1281. Or, if you have access to the film starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis, you may watch that version of the play.
2. Once you have read or watched the play, research the McMillen Library databases (choose "All Databases" to obtain the most results, as demonstrated in the Tech Live) to locate two academic journal articles about Fences
3. Choose two of the scholarly articles, and then create an Annotated Bibliography, which contains MLA citations for each article, and then summarizes each article underneath the entry. Use the Cite tool on the database website to create a correct works cited entry.
4. This will provide the groundwork for the essay that is due next week. That assignment will be to write a short research paper in which you quote, summarize, and paraphrase two different scholarly critiques of Wilson’s Fences.
