25 Jul Qualitative Research Study Summary
Find an example of a qualitative research study that has been reported in an academic journal. (This article does not have to be in computer science or a STEM field. It can come from any discipline or field of study.) Upload the following two documents:
- The complete full-text article (most likely as a PDF file).
- Provide a 1-2 page summary of the qualitative research method used. Was it a semi-structured interview, focus group, or less common qualitative method? Describe the number of participants and how the researchers structured the study. The abstract, introduction, and methodology sections (or equivalent) of the paper will be very helpful here. Remember that copying and pasting directly from the article is not of interest. What we are looking for is a summary in your own words, which is what you would need to do if you were incorporating the article into a literature review for a paper or thesis that you were writing.
