25 Jul Sherlock Adaptation Practice Discussion
I’m working on a english discussion question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
It’s time to start thinking about Adaptations! Please read Arthur Conan Doyle’s “A Study in Scarlet,” and if you can, watch the Sherlock episode “A Study in Pink” (linked with ads below; or read the Wikipedia entry for the episode). In a one page (250 words) response, please compare and contrast the two versions of the narrative, considering the different rhetorical situations (purpose, context, genre/medium, audience, stance). “Think through the ideas in detail I expect thoughtful analysis for full points.”
