Assignment 8b: Biblical Ethics Discussion
11 unread reply.11 reply.
Objective: Explore the implications of so-called fallible choices.
If you talk to many Christians, they will chafe against the idea that there are any so-called grey areas. In other words, they will contend that the Bible teaches sufficiently for us to understand that no matter what the issue is, a black or white answer can be found.
Instructions
Read the McQuilkin and Copan text, pp. 515-611.
Using McQuilkin’s text, specifically sections VIII and IX, and Scripture, how would you respond to those who claim that there are some grey areas in life for which it is difficult to make a definitive determination? Do you agree or disagree with this claim and why? Support your response.
Write a 300-word post that suggests how this problem can be overcome. Be sure to include information from appropriate biblical and/or theological texts with proper citations
