Here are your assignments for your powerpoint presentation to help you and your peers prepare for your experience as an RN in the LTC setting. 

All discussions should be done the Wednesday prior to your first LTC experience so that everyone can review the powerpoints you post and be read to work on their BINGO sheets.

In your presentation:

+Take 5-7 minutes to listen to your voice over, be practiced and professionally delivered (i.e. know your stuff! Don't just read the slides)

+show Evidence-based material, share the rationale of why and how we do this assessment

+Create a scenario in which you would use this as an RN in the longterm setting

+If there's a chart or document, show us how to document our findings

+Include education for the client, family, and interdisciplinary team

+ watch each short video and write one sentence thanking your peer and one thing you liked about their presentation. Be sure to jot down notes on your bingo sheet so you know how to utilize the assessments in your LTC
