To help you prepare for working on your capstone project, you are expected to become more informed about the broader intellectual, political, policy, and/or organizational context of your project issue/problem through a review of pertinent literature. You are then required to prepare a brief statement (1500-1800 words) summarizing the findings from your research and their relevance to your project, along with a bibliography identifying the material you reviewed in your research. These summaries will be shared with the other members of your team to provide a common knowledge base you can draw on to develop your research prospectus and final report. Your summary and bibliography should be mailed to me by midnight on Sunday, June 12. These will be assessed on a 15-point scale, with a point penalty if they are turned in late but by midnight on Sunday, June 12 and another point penalty if turned in anytime thereafter.
