1) What is the SES gradient in health? How does it compare to an understanding of health status and outcomes based on the absolute poverty line?
2) We have seen how social factors such as SES, race and relationships affect health outcomes. Drawing from the lectures and the readings, we want you to reflect on how these factors might have affected your health experience during the COVID 19 pandemic. You can talk about exposure to the virus, access to healthcare/vaccine, mental health issues etc. If you are not comfortable with sharing your own experience, feel free to bring in what you have read about how others have experienced the pandemic. Highlight at least one of the social factors in your explanation.
