You are to create an internal-focused whitepaper (written to the leadership of your organization of choice) which identifies a driving trend (identified in Period One) and proposes a solution to overcome (if leading to a negative future) or advance (if leading to a positive future) that offers the leaders an argument for adoption of an innovation tied to your solution (a proposal). The whitepaper should include: 1) the problem, 2) scholarly support for the problem (strategic thinking and foresight), 3) a solution to the problem (the innovation), 4) benefits to the organization if adopted, and 5) identification of the negative consequences if not adopting the solution.
My industry sector would be the Armed Forces, and the specific organization would be the implementation of transgenders as well as those who desire gender reassignment surgery.
You have hit on a major trend that will not go away. The history of gays (serving and being married) is now settled as is trans-genderism. What will be next? Is the military a laboratory for social experiments as compared to its purpose…to protect the country in battle?
