All of you have played a role completing projects in your personal and professional lives. Each of you has distinct skill sets, leadership, and management styles, and personalities that impact the part you play in planning and implementing a project. Discuss which role most closely fits your experience or with which you are most familiar (e.g. Stakeholder, Owner, Subject Matter Expert [SME]). Reflect on how your role may have been part of a project you are particularly proud of completing. In your reflection, consider the following:
- Why do you feel you were assigned that particular role?
- Did you use skills with which you were familiar or skills that were new to you?
- How did your specific role contribute to the project?
- Is this a role you felt comfortable in? If so, why? If not, what role would you have preferred to play and why?
