Identify and discuss a health issue/disease that has been in the news or interests you and provide your opinion on how using message tailoring could enhance the effectiveness of health communication programs. Include in your commentary the importance of attitudes in health communication initiatives.

Compose an essay with the elements listed below using information from the lectures and Chapters 7 and 8 in the textbook and examples from “Unnatural Causes” that provides an explanation to the following prompts:
Explain how social cognitive theory in terms of the five key constructs and reciprocal triadic causation can be applied to health promotion programs using one or more examples from the lecture, textbook, and/or “Unnatural Causes.” (M7.1)
Using the example(s) from part (a), describe the threefold-stepwise implementation model, and explain how key social cognitive principles would be employed in each of the three levels. (M7.2)
