Read the following case scenario to develop an intervention plan using community resources from your local community.
Case:
Portillo Elementary school is a charter school that caters to “gifted” students. On Monday morning, faculty and students came to school to hear the news that an instructor died in a vehicle accident over the weekend.
Several instructors and students immediately became tearful upon hearing the news.
Upon reading the case scenario, write a paper, which includes the following:
1. You are a school counselor. What steps might you take to address the event
presented in the case scenario with the faculty and students?
2. Identify three community resources that you will incorporate into your plan
and explain why.
