1. Project Business Case, Charter, and Scope Statement. Compare and contrast the project business case, project charter, and project scope statement. Explain how you would use each of these documents as input to the planning of the project? What are project requirements, assumptions, and constraints; how are they formulated; when are they formulated. In regards to a project in which you have been involved (or have knowledge) provide an example of the requirements, assumptions, and constraints of this project.

2. The Work Breakdown Structure. As you have learned from your reading in the PMBOK this week, the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is a decomposition of all the work necessary to complete a project. A WBS is arranged in a hierarchy and constructed to allow for clear and logical groupings, either by major phases or deliverables. The WBS should represent the work identified in the approved Project Scope Statement and has many benefits when developed properly.
