I NEED THE EXCEL DOCUMENT + WORD DOCUMENT AS WELL. I NEED A SHORT EXCEL WITH FILTERS IN ORDER TO BE EASY TO READ. I’m looking for answers to 5 questions. You must analyze the dataset and make recommendations based on your own set of values. Put this in the memo and add screen shots of your pivot table justifying your answer. Don’t JUST put the answer but EXPLAIN why you chose the answer. BE sure and attach the memo and the spreadsheet.
My recommendations: 1) do one or more pivot tables for EACH question and save them as Q1a, Q1b … etc. Then from the pivot tables make a memo to answer each of the 5 questions in the assignment. Make sure you use filters where needed (Q3 & 4) and separate out each one (don’t try and put everything all in one. Do one for Murder one for violent crime – or whatever variables YOU choose as the criteria). Use a screen shot of the pivot tables as justification of the answer. This is a CRITICAL THINKING assignment. I am looking to see if you can use TECH (pivot tables) to come to good conclusions. You set the parameters! REMEMBER it is due on Monday at 7am. Some of you are getting off to another late start!
