1)In Case Study #5, look at the transcript of the PMHNP’s work with Nick. The case study is broken up into three phases. How do Nick’s behaviors reflect, or differ from, what the PMHNP might expect to see during the at the orientation, working, and termination stages in therapy?
2) In Case Study #9, a specialized form of CBT is employed. What was a strategy or assignment you might take from this example and use in your own practice? If you have an adolescent client who is particularly reluctant to talk, how would you handle this?
