Decreased tobacco use is one outcome used to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care provided to a community. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a National Tobacco Control Program (NTCP) State Exchange. The NTCP website provides information on state tobacco control programs, training, documents, and activities.
