Professionally speaking, are you alive or just lingering? Are the people who work with you or in school with you thriving or barely surviving? If the quality of your professional or University life is questionable, prolonging it may be a grave disservice. There are worse things than death for a person or a professional. If you have to make a choice, go for quality.
