You are expected to: 1) Introduction: Choose type of crime /deviance such as misdemeanor, violent crime, hate crime, white collar crime, antisocial behavior, mass shooting, etc. Why do you want to examine this crime/deviance? Why is it important to know more? 2) Review and summarize 2 to 6 academic journals articles (NOT WEBSITES, BLOGS OR NEWSPAPERS) that explain the cuase of this type of crime/deviance. 3) Elaboration: Compare and contrast how those journals articles are related to, or/and differentiated from, each other — that is, synthesize how they draw on similar/ different theories, come to similar/different conclusions. 4) Causality: Based on your summary and synthesis of the journal articles, answer this question: what exactly causes people to commit this type of crime/deviance? 5) Policy Implications for Crime Prevention: Based on your causal argument, what can be done to reduce or stop this type of crime?deviance? 6) This should be about 5-7 pages in Times New Roman font and 12pt font.
