One could look at the increase in longevity will mean a shift in how we live and work. Knowledge workers can and will live and work longer. Technological innovation in how we live, grow food, etc. will also modify society — just as we have modified how we live as opposed to those born in 1900. The rest of society will not remain static as we live longer — changes will be critical.
