For this module, you will prepare a four- to six-minute video briefing. You may choose one of four options, three of which relate to our fictional construct (found in the syllabus). First, you may brief CEO Jack Ryder and the board of directors on the benefits and detriments of transitioning to an organic, greenhouse farming environment. Second, you may brief Chief Walter Jackson on your recommendations for his proposal to mandate body-worn cameras for the Capitol City Police Force and to create a kinder, gentler police force, more focused on community outreach and relationship building. Third, you may brief CEO Christy Carlisle on your recommendations for her proposal to close JAG Systems’ Huntsville operation. Fourth, you may choose an intelligence topic of your own. If you choose this fourth option, please provide me with the appropriate background information.
For purposes of this briefing, we are not concerned with sourcing or with the foundations for your findings. In other words, I won’t be double-checking your analysis for its validity. Here, we are focused on your presentation skills — your professionalism, your body language, and your verbal delivery.
